a preferred provider of criminal background checks for potential volunteers and employees of CASA and GAL programs throughout the United States.
A criminal records check is a necessary element in program screening of potential volunteers and employees. This partnership with ChoicePoint provides access to a national criminal background check that includes a 50-state sex offender registry as well as state, county, motor vehicle, credit and other valuable searches.
The partnership with ChoicePoint provides access to these necessary searches at 40-60% off regular rates. Additionally, each time a program runs a background check using ChoicePoint’s VolunteerSelect Plus, ChoicePoint will donate up to 10% of the cost of the search back to support the programs of National CASA.
